Being driven by the creative instincts that empower the virtue of my intellectual mind , i came to research on the hidden facts of this great lady "Mona Lisa " which lies to be still an enigma among the learned men of the art world ....
It is an oil painting on a popular wood panel .It was painted sometime in 1503 and 1506 while Da Vinci was living in Florence and now it hangs in "Louvre" in Paris where it remains an object of pilgrimage in the 21st century with dmensions 77cm*53cm.
The mastery of the painting lies in its fine details, including
The
work is said to have been commissioned by a gentleman named Francesco
del Giocondo, who hired Leonardo Da Vinci to paint a portrait of his
wife, and this is the reason why The Mona Lisa is sometimes referred to
as La Gioconda.
Intrigue is usually focused on the enigmatic smile. However , when viewed under a microscope ,by some of the historians in Italy , it was discovered that on magnifying to the eyes of great "mona Lisa " , certain numbers and letters could be figured out .
Experts say , that these barely distinguishable letters , encode some real-life code by "Da Vinci"

MONA LISA : a painting or a secret code .......
Da Vinci Code :
- In the right eye appear to be letters LV , standing for the initials of the artist itself .
- While , in the left eye there are symbols which are not that defined , they appear to b letters CE or B.
- In the arch of the bridge in the background , no.72 can be seen .
- Behind the picture appears no. 149 with fourth no. erased , probably suggesting Da Vinci painted it in the 1490s while he was in Milan .
The Mysterious Smile .........
WHY DOES SMILE OF MONALISA CHANGE?
- technical fact behind the changing of beautis smile is simply the tricks or the illusion of ur eyes
- the observation that everyone came across was initially her smiling appearance and as by the time you move your gaze the expression changes of not so happy anymore.

Did Da Vinci eventually/intentionally cerated the ambiguous appearance???
So the fact is:
When
you initially stare at Monalisa' s face, yous first sight goes
to her eye, at this instant our eye's part(the fovea) picks up the
fine details as colours, processing the image of eyes. while the
emphasis peripheral vision picks up the image of the lips. As the
peripheral vision cant distinguish the fine details,it eventually takes
the the shadow of Monalisa's cheekbones as smile.
and now
when the focus turns towards the lips, the role of fovea comes into play
and it distinguishes the fine details of lips.ultimately the smile
alters( turns upside down(which it really was) and she appears
sad.,leading you to amazement.
1.the images of monalisa revealed the hidden secrets under infrared and visible light
2.these
images are part of an exibition"Monalisa secrets revealed",featuring
the new research byfrench engineer named Pascal Cotte and the debuts in
San Francisco, where it will remain till the end of this year.
3) The monalisa showcase is a part of larger exibition titled "Da Vinci:An exibition of Genius"
REVEALING OF THE FACT:
Cotte ,was the founder of Lumiere Technology, by his own
invention(240 megapixel MULTI-SPECTRAL CAMERA) he scanned the painting.
the major benefit of the camera was its capability of using 13
weavelengths from UV to infrared. the resulting images took of centuries
varnish and other alterations, earlier present, which highlighted the
fact that how the artist brought the painted figure to life and how sge
appeared to Da Vinci and her contemporaries.
COTTE said
The
face of Monalisa appears slightly wider, the smile is different and
the eyes are different .at last he said that the smile is more
accentuated.
MYSTERY:
1)A zoomed image of monalisa' s
left eye highlighted a single brush stroke in the eyebrow region, cotte
told that he discovered a single hair of the eyebrow.
2)Another hidden fact was the position of Molnalisa's right arm revealed
by cotte, he said, that its the first time that an artist has rendered
the wrist and the arm in such an ideal position.
3) the
pigment just behind the right wrist was identical to the painted cover
that drapes across Monalisa's knee.and after comming across the infrared
observations deeply Cotte said:the wrist of the right hand is up gigh
the stomach, but she holds a cover with her wrist(infrared observations)
4)
the infrared observations also revealed Da Vinci's preparatory drawing
that lies behind layers of varnish and paints disclopsing that the
RENAISSANCE MAN (by Vinci) was also a human. according to Cotte ,
leonardo was hesitated in deciding the positions,as on looking over the
left and the rigjht finger (their positions altered)
OTHER REVEALATIONS INCLUDE :
- lace on her dress
- The transparency of the veil shows da Vinci first painted a landscape and then used transparency techniques to paint the veil atop (after) it.
- A change in the position of the left index and middle finger.
- The elbow was repaired from damage due to a rock thrown at the painting in 1956.
- The blanket covering Mona Lisa's knees also covers her stomach.
- The left finger was not completely finished.(hesitation of Da Vinci)
- A blotch mark on the corner of the eye and chin are varnish accidents, countering claims that Mona Lisa was sick.
- And the Mona Lisa was painted on uncut poplar board, contrary to speculations.
